Dr. Mahmoud Arif Al-Shuraida, a faculty member in the Department of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Engineering Techniques at Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, has achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment by being included for the third consecutive year (2024–2026) in the list of the world’s top 2% most influential scientists, according to a ranking by Stanford University in the United States in collaboration with the international publishing company Elsevier.
It is worth noting that Dr. Al-Shuraida also serves as the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate on the Southern Technical University Council. This achievement highlights his research excellence and significant scientific contributions at the international level.
