Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Holds Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Applications in University Life

Under the patronage of the Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Surveying Engineering Techniques and the Media and Government Communication Division, held a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence Applications in University Life.”

The workshop addressed the significance of artificial intelligence and its modern applications in the university environment, highlighting its role in advancing the educational and research processes. It also explored ways in which AI tools can be utilized to accomplish academic and administrative tasks and enhance digital skills.

The workshop was delivered by Ms. Khadija Yahya Muheil and attended by a number of college staff members. It was held at the Department of Surveying Engineering Techniques.

The workshop is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with recent technological developments and promote a culture of effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence. Such initiatives contribute to developing the university environment and enhancing the capabilities of staff and students in utilizing modern digital technologies.
