University President Honors Service Staff and Directs Display of Their Group Photograph in the College Deanship
In a gesture reflecting both humanitarian and institutional values, the President of Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, honored the university’s service staff in recognition of their daily efforts in serving the university and maintaining its facilities and working environment.
The University President emphasized that a university is not built through the efforts of academic and administrative staff alone, but rather through an integrated system in which every individual contributes to its success, regardless of their job title. He commended the service staff for their dedication and commitment to carrying out their duties.
As a gesture of appreciation for their work and dedication, the University President directed that a group photograph of the service staff be displayed in the College Deanship. The photograph is intended to serve as a lasting reminder of the people whose daily efforts contribute to the university and to affirm that they are an integral part of its institutional identity and collective memory.
He further noted that the initiative is about more than simply displaying a photograph on a wall; it conveys a broader message that every individual who works with dedication at the university deserves to be recognized and appreciated. He stressed that a person’s sense of belonging to the university is not determined by the nature of their job, but by the commitment, dedication, and contribution they bring to the institution.
For their part, the service staff expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University President for this meaningful initiative, which had a positive impact on them. They affirmed their commitment to continuing to perform their duties with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication.
This initiative reflects the Southern Technical University Presidency’s commitment to all members of its workforce, promoting a culture of appreciation and respect, and reinforcing the principle that the university is one community in which different roles complement one another and collective efforts come together in service of students and society.
