Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Holds Workshop on Professional Integrity and Strengthening Public Trust

Under the patronage of the Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Government Media and Communication Division, conducted a workshop entitled “Professional Integrity and Strengthening Public Trust.”

The workshop was delivered by Mr. Yousif Mahmoud Salim and Mr. Ahmed Abbas Obaid. It addressed a range of topics related to the importance of professional integrity in the workplace and its role in promoting the principles of transparency, responsibility, and commitment to professional duties.

The workshop also highlighted the significance of professional and ethical conduct in the performance of official duties, as well as the need to comply with applicable laws, instructions, and regulations. Such commitment contributes to reducing improper practices and strengthening public confidence in educational and community institutions. These themes are consistent with contemporary institutional approaches that regard integrity, transparency, and accountability as fundamental pillars for improving institutional performance.

The workshop featured active engagement from the participants, who contributed questions and remarks that enriched the discussion and enhanced awareness of the importance of adopting and promoting professional integrity in the workplace.
