The Technological Technical Institute in Basra Organizes a Training Workshop on Programming Fundamentals and Smart Technologies for Building a Digital Future
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Institute, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training workshop entitled:
“Programming Fundamentals and Smart Technologies for Building a Digital Future.”
The workshop was delivered by Engineering Consultant and Business Developer, Haider Sarem Al-Najjar.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of programming and its importance in keeping pace with rapid technological advancements. It also highlighted smart technologies, artificial intelligence applications, and their role in building a sustainable digital future that supports various educational, service, and productive sectors.
The program covered multiple themes, including the basics of computational thinking, mechanisms for developing digital skills, and the importance of innovation in modern work environments. It also reviewed key technological trends that contribute to enhancing digital transformation and building smart cities capable of meeting contemporary demands.
Held at the Institute’s Central Conference Hall, the workshop witnessed active participation from staff members, who expressed strong engagement with the topics discussed and emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific and training activities to enhance technical capacities and strengthen digital literacy within the academic community.
