Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit at the Institute, in cooperation with the Department of Surveying Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training course entitled:

“SketchUp Software.”

The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ni’mah Abdul Abbas Hamoud and aimed to introduce participants to SketchUp and its applications in 3D modeling. It also highlighted the key tools and functions provided by the software in the fields of engineering, architectural design, and surveying.

Over three days, the course included practical training on creating engineering drawings and 3D models, as well as managing design projects in a professional manner. This contributed to enhancing the participants’ technical skills and keeping pace with modern developments in digital design software.

The course was held in the Surveying Technologies Department halls at the Institute.
