Technological Technical Institute in Basra Holds a Training Course on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Scientific Division, in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training course entitled “Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming.”

The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Waleed Jaloub Khudair, who introduced participants to the fundamental concepts of PLC systems and their role in controlling industrial processes. The course also covered the components of PLC systems, programming methods, and practical applications used in various industrial and manufacturing sectors.

The training course aimed to enhance participants’ technical knowledge and practical skills in the field of industrial automation, contributing to the preparation of qualified technical and engineering personnel capable of keeping pace with modern technological developments and the evolving demands of the labour market.

Held over three days, the course attracted active participation and engagement from attendees, who gained insight into both the theoretical and practical aspects of PLC programming. Participants emphasized the importance of such training initiatives in enhancing the scientific and professional competencies of students and staff members.

The course was conducted in the halls of the Department of Production Mechanical Technologies at the institute.
