Under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, the Scientific Division, in cooperation with the Department of Electronic Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a scientific seminar titled “Modern Wireless Communication Technologies: Wi-Fi and 5G.”

The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Kamil Ouda Karim, who presented the latest developments in wireless communication technologies, with a focus on the principles of 5G networks and their applications in communication and data transmission. He also highlighted the technical advantages of these networks, particularly their high speed and efficiency in exchanging information.

The seminar was attended by a number of academic staff and students. It included scientific discussions and interventions that enriched the topics and contributed to enhancing participants’ technical knowledge in line with the rapid developments in modern communication technologies.
