The Institute of Technology and Technical Studies in Basra held its 10th Council meeting to discuss academic preparations.

The Council of the Institute of Technology and Technical Studies in Basra held its 10th session, chaired by the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, and attended by Council members, to discuss a range of important academic and administrative matters aimed at enhancing the educational process.

The session included discussions on the ongoing preparations for the first-round final examinations of the second semester for second-year students. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that all necessary requirements are in place to guarantee the smooth conduct of examinations and to provide an appropriate environment for students.

The meeting also addressed the registration process and the activation of the Ministry’s (Eduba) platform for education and continuous development. It was stressed that all institute staff should register and actively participate in the training programs offered through the platform, in order to enhance the competencies of both academic and administrative personnel.

In addition, the Council reviewed preparations related to completing the requirements for academic accreditation in both its programmatic and institutional aspects, emphasizing the importance of meeting the required standards to strengthen the Institute’s academic standing.

The session concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at supporting the educational process and improving institutional performance.
