Under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Institute of Technology in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, and in the presence of the Deans of Basra’s academic formations, the President of the University inaugurated the Exhibition of Devices and Applied Projects manufactured by students under the supervision of their academic staff. The opening ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Student Conference for the Discussion of Graduation Projects for the academic year 2025–2026, with the participation of all scientific departments at the Institute of Technology in Basra.

The exhibition showcased a range of innovations and practical models reflecting the scientific and technical skills acquired by students throughout their academic journey. It received considerable praise for the students’ efforts in presenting distinguished projects that serve the community and align with technological advancements.
