“The Reality of Women: Between Social, Economic, and Cultural Challenges, and Mechanisms for Mitigating Barriers and Enhancing Empowerment Opportunities.”
The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students. It featured a lecture delivered by Nour Al-Huda Makki Ali, who highlighted the most prominent challenges facing women across various fields, shedding light on ways to support their active role in society and enhance their empowerment opportunities at both the academic and professional levels.
The event also included fruitful discussions and interactive dialogues among the participants, during which several proposals and recommendations were presented to help create a supportive environment for women, thereby strengthening their participation in sustainable development processes.
This seminar is part of a series of activities organized by the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, reflecting its commitment to addressing societal issues, raising awareness on women’s empowerment, and contributing to the building of a more balanced and progressive society. The seminar was held at the institute’s conference hall.
