As part of its commitment to fostering a sustainable and engaging campus environment, the Workshops Unit at the Technological Technical Institute in Basra organized a distinguished volunteer initiative under the guidance of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary.

The initiative brought together members of the unit in a collaborative effort to enhance the gardens located opposite the unit. Activities focused on improving the overall appearance of the area through comprehensive cleaning, waste removal, and the careful organization of green spaces to create a more welcoming and functional environment for students and staff alike.

In addition, sidr plants were introduced as part of the initiative, contributing to the expansion of green areas and reinforcing the institute’s commitment to environmental sustainability and campus beautification.

This initiative reflects the institute’s ongoing dedication to promoting a culture of volunteerism and environmental responsibility, while supporting its broader vision of providing a healthy, attractive, and inspiring educational setting.
