Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the Scientific Division, in cooperation with the Department of Electronic Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Wireless Network Administrator.” The workshop was delivered by Mr. Kamil Oudah Kareem.

This initiative forms part of the Institute’s ongoing programs aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of staff members and students in the field of wireless communication networks, strengthening their practical capabilities in alignment with labor market demands and the rapid advancement of communication technologies.

The workshop combined both theoretical and practical components, focusing on:

• Fundamentals of wireless network design and management

• Configuration and deployment of Access Points

• Wireless network security strategies and vulnerability mitigation

• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of common network issues

• Best practices for network performance management and monitoring

The workshop witnessed active engagement from participants through applied discussions and hands-on exercises. Attendees emphasized the significance of such training programs in advancing their technical expertise and enabling them to keep pace with the accelerating developments in communication network technologies.
