The Technological Technical Institute in Basra is organizing a discussion session entitled “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship” as part of the 2025 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week activities.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the Institute organized a discussion session entitled “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship,” presented by Ms. Wafeeqa Abdul-Hussein Al-Moamen, President of the Southern Region Businesswomen Association. The session covered multiple topics, including the concept of entrepreneurship, mechanisms for establishing start-up projects, the importance of innovation in the labor market, as well as key challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the private sector and ways to support youth initiatives and transform ideas into productive and sustainable projects.

The speaker also emphasized the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills among students and graduates, fostering a culture of self-employment, and highlighting the role of academic institutions in supporting the shift toward a knowledge-based entrepreneurial economy.

The session was attended by faculty members and students of the Institute, with active participation through questions and discussions that enriched the session’s content. The discussion took place at the Institute’s Central Conference Hall.
