Under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, along with the Dean of the Technical Administrative College, and in the presence of the Deans of Basra formations, the University’s Student Activities Department— in cooperation with the Fajr Al-Amal Student Team and the Media and Government Communication Division at the Institute and the Technical Administrative College—organized its annual festival entitled “Until He Appears.” The event was held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi.
The celebration took place at Al-Mustafa Hall within the Institute, attended by a number of faculty members and students from the University and the Institute, in a distinguished atmosphere marked by spiritual reflection and cultural engagement.
The festival program featured a variety of segments, including a theatrical operetta, an intellectual debate, and an interactive cultural competition for students, all of which reflected the spirit of the occasion and its doctrinal and educational significance.
This event aligns with the commitment of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra to supporting purposeful student activities and to strengthening religious and cultural values within the academic community.
