The event featured the participation of Dr. Hassan Fouad and Dr. Mahmoud Aref Al-Sharida from the Department of Electronic Technologies, through four innovative research teams, including two teams from the Department of Computer Networks and Software Technologies, reflecting a high level of scientific integration across technical disciplines.

The submitted projects presented pioneering solutions aimed at serving and protecting humans, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity and human-centered technology, aligning with the requirements of digital transformation and community needs.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sharida also took part in several media interviews during the hackathon, in which he highlighted Southern Technical University’s vision in supporting applied education, enhancing the role of academic institutions in serving society, and linking scientific research with practical applications.
