Under the Patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, and as part of the activities marking International Human Rights Day, the Human Rights Unit, in collaboration with the University Psychological Guidance Unit, the Mechanical Technologies Department, and the Government Media and Communication Division, organized a workshop titled “Students’ Rights and Responsibilities in the University Environment.”

The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Ali Fakher Habib, Head of the Human Rights Unit, and focused on the key responsibilities of students within the university setting. It also addressed student discipline guidelines and highlighted the role of students in preserving university property, aiming to raise awareness of their rights and obligations on campus.
