A Scientific Achievement for Southern Technical University: Publication of an International Research Paper in the Q1-Ranked Journal Scientific Reports

A research team from Southern Technical University has published an international paper in Scientific Reports, a Q1-ranked journal by Springer indexed in both Clarivate and Scopus.

The team included:

• Dr. Mahmood Aref Lafta Al-Shureida – Institute of Technology / Basra

• Dr. Ahmed Al-Hujaymi – Technical College / Dhi Qar

The paper, entitled “ChebloD: A Chebyshev Polynomial-Based Lightweight Authentication Scheme for Internet of Drones Environments”, introduces an innovative solution based on Chebyshev polynomials to develop a lightweight and secure authentication mechanism for Internet of Drones (IoD) environments, thereby enhancing the security and reliability of these resource-constrained systems.
