The Technical Institute of Technology in Basra organized a training workshop titled “Programmatic Accreditation for Technical Engineering Specializations.”

The event was attended by:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute

• Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs

• Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs

• In addition to several department heads, academic coordinators, and faculty members

The workshop, held in the institute’s administrative hall, was presented by Dr. Rand Abdul Sattar Abdul, a faculty member at the Technical Engineering College in Basra.

The session explored the concept of programmatic accreditation, its significance in the development of academic programs, and its role in aligning with international quality standards.

The primary objective of the workshop was to build the capacity of the teaching staff and enhance academic performance at the institute, in accordance with the requirements of both institutional and programmatic accreditation frameworks.
