Awareness Seminar Titled: “The Jews from a Qur’anic Perspective”
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Diya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute of Technology, the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies organized an awareness seminar entitled “The Jews from a Qur’anic Perspective”, held at the institute’s conference hall.
The seminar was delivered by His Eminence Sayyed Abdulsalam Zain Al-Abidin, a renowned Qur’anic interpreter, who explored the characteristics and historical stances of the Jews as portrayed in the Holy Qur’an. His lecture highlighted the religious and historical contexts of these portrayals, clarifying the criticism mentioned in the Qur’anic verses regarding their opposition to divine truth and rejection of God’s messages.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Diya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute of Technology; Prof. Dr. Kazem Haneef, Administrative Assistant to the University President; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Duna Tariq Al-Aidani, Head of the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies, along with a number of faculty members and staff.
The session witnessed active engagement and constructive academic discussions, reflecting the audience’s interest in the lecture’s intellectual content and its scholarly significance.
