The Academics Syndicate honors Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shuraida, faculty member at the Basra Technological Institute. in recognition of his academic and research contributions.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, along with a delegation from the syndicate headed by Prof. Dr. Diaa Faleh Al-Fakeeki, Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate in Basra.

This recognition comes shortly after a similar honor by the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate – Basra Branch, further affirming Dr. Al-Shuraida’s distinguished academic standing and the appreciation of professional institutions for his active role in advancing scientific research and enriching the academic landscape.

The syndicate’s delegation commended his outstanding efforts in elevating academic performance and publishing in reputable international journals, emphasizing that this award reflects his continued dedication to strengthening the technical education environment in Iraq
