Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqub Yusuf, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies, organized a workshop titled “Correct Reading and Quranic Recitation Rules” on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ali Fakher Habib, a faculty member in the Department of Production Mechanical Engineering. The session provided a detailed explanation of the etiquettes of Quran recitation, with a focus on some short chapters and common mistakes in recitation, along with their corrections. Dr. Ali Fakher also reviewed the various rules of pause (waqf) in the Quran, providing practical examples on how to apply them and their importance in improving the recitation.
The workshop saw a high level of engagement from the participants, who showed clear interest in the valuable information presented, reflecting the importance of such workshops in enhancing religious awareness and correcting mistakes in Quran recitation.
