The Mechanical Technologies Department Organizes a Workshop on the Importance of Environmental Preservation and Emission Reduction

Basra – The Mechanical Technologies Department organized a workshop titled “The Importance of Environmental Preservation and Emission Reduction,” attended by a number of faculty members and students from the institute.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Ali Fakher Habib, a faculty member in the department. He discussed the main environmental pollutants that affect air, soil, and water, as well as the risks associated with them. Dr. Habib also presented some environmental statistics related to the impact of harmful emissions, emphasizing the importance of taking necessary actions to reduce them.

The workshop saw active participation from the attendees, who discussed ways to preserve the environment through the adoption of sustainable practices and eco-friendly technologies that contribute to reducing the negative impact of emissions.
