Under the patronage of Dr. Diyah Kammil Shary, Dean of the Basra Technological Technical Institute,
the Information Technology Division organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of Academic Translation in Educational Institutions”

The workshop was presented by Ms. Arwa Emad Murad, and it addressed the importance of academic translation and its role in knowledge transfer and experience exchange between educational institutions. It also highlighted the main challenges faced by academic translators and ways to enhance the quality of specialized translation in the educational field.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the participants’ skills in academic translation, contributing to supporting scientific research and improving academic performance at the institute.

At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their appreciation for the practical insights provided and emphasized the value of such activities in enhancing translation competencies.
