Workshop on Preparing Tissue Sections and Their Importance

The Women’s Affairs Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a workshop titled “How to Prepare Tissue Sections and Their Purpose,” presented by:
– MS Entiha Abdul Zahra Abdul Karim
– MS Mona Khazal Jaber
– MS Fatima Ayad Hassan

The workshop included a comprehensive introduction to tissues and the importance of preparing ready-made tissue slides for microscopic examination. A detailed explanation was provided on the basic steps for preparing tissue sections, including the operation of the microtome, loading sections, and subsequent staining processes and slide preparation for microscopic examination.
