Under the patronage and presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammil Shary, Dean of Basra Technological Technical Institute, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized an awareness seminar titled “Strategic Planning.”

The seminar was presented by Ms. Sanaa Hassan Zabon, who discussed the concepts of strategic planning and its importance in improving institutional performance, setting clear future visions that contribute to achieving the institute’s goals, and developing its educational and administrative environment. The presentation also highlighted the use of the SWOT framework to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within institutional operations.

The seminar witnessed active and fruitful participation from the attendees, who shared several comments and suggestions aimed at enhancing the application of strategic planning concepts in both academic and administrative work.
