Under the patronage of the Dean of Basra Technological Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammil Shary, the Information Technology Division, in collaboration with the Media and Government Communication Division at the institute, organized a workshop titled “Account Security and Protection”. The workshop was presented by Mr. Emad Waleed Abdul-Aali.

The workshop addressed the key steps required to protect accounts and close security gaps against cyber threats, emphasizing adherence to digital security policies. Participants were encouraged to implement essential security measures, such as using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and changing them regularly, to ensure accounts are protected from unauthorized access or breaches.

The workshop witnessed active engagement from participants, who expressed that they benefited from the information provided and highlighted the importance of applying digital security concepts in their daily lives and professional environments.
