A high-level engineering delegation from Southern Technical University participated in the distinguished academic event hosted by Bilad Al-Rafidain Private University in Diyala Governorate, which hosted the meeting of the Deans’ Committee for Engineering Technology Specializations. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ali Nasser Hussein, Dean of the Technical College of Electrical Engineering, as the Chair of the Committee of Deans of Engineering Technology Specializations, representing the Supervisory and Scientific Evaluation Authority, along with the Deans’ Committee of Technical Colleges and Polytechnics from the following institutions:

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ali Nasser delivered the speech of the Chair of the Deans’ Committee.
The meeting reviewed the structure of the Committee of Deans of Engineering Technology Specializations and examined the committee’s activities from January 2, 2025, to October 15, 2025.
Additionally, the establishment of new departments and colleges in public and private universities, as well as graduate programs, was reviewed for the period from June 2 to October 15, 2025.
The agenda also included reviewing the results of the evaluation exam for the academic year 2024–2025, in addition to discussing the letter from Middle Euphrates Technical University and the unification of names of engineering departments in technical colleges.
On the sidelines of the meeting, awards, letters of appreciation, and excellence plaques were exchanged by the Chair of the Committee of Engineering Specializations and the host university, honoring the Chair, committee members, and all participants.
