The Council of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra Holds Its Twelfth Session for the Academic Year Under the Chairmanship of the Dean
The Council of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra convened its twelfth session for the current academic year, presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammil Shari, Dean of the Institute. The session was attended by Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Mr. Murtada Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Mr. Adnan Reekan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, in addition to the heads of the scientific departments.
The meeting addressed several key topics, most notably the results of the final examinations for first-stage students. Discussions included analysis of success rates, academic performance indicators, and evaluations of both student and faculty performance throughout the past semester.
The council also reviewed the institute’s maintenance and infrastructure development plans, scheduled for implementation during the summer break. These plans aim to improve the educational and service environment on campus, in alignment with the institute’s strategic goals for academic excellence.
An additional item on the agenda focused on the requirements for achieving institutional and program accreditation. The council stressed the importance of preparing and submitting all necessary documentation and evidence related to quality assurance standards, as part of the institute’s efforts to obtain both national and international accreditation, thereby reinforcing its position as a distinguished academic institution.
The session concluded with a series of recommendations, including the formation of specialized committees to monitor the implementation of discussed initiatives and to ensure timely execution with the required level of quality.
