The Technical Technological Institute Council in Basra Holds Its Twelfth Session for the Academic Year under the Chairmanship of the Dean
The Council of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra held its twelfth session for the current academic year, chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamil Shari. The meeting was attended by the Dean’s assistants: Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Mr. Murtada Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Mr. Adnan Reekan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, in addition to the heads of the scientific departments at the institute.
The council discussed several key topics during the session, most notably the results of the first-stage final exams. The meeting reviewed success rates, academic indicators, and evaluated the performance of students and teaching staff throughout the past semester.
Attention was also given to the maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction plans for the institute’s infrastructure, scheduled to be implemented during the summer break. These efforts aim to enhance the educational and service environment within the campus, aligning with the institute’s aspirations for academic excellence.
Another important agenda item was the discussion of requirements for completing institutional and program accreditation. The council emphasized the necessity of providing all required documents and evidence related to quality standards as part of the institute’s plan to obtain national and international accreditations, thereby strengthening its position as a leading educational institution.
The session concluded with recommendations to follow up on the implementation of the discussed points and the formation of specialized committees to ensure tasks are completed on time and with the required quality.
