Academic Departments at the Technological Technical Institute in Basra Hold Exceptional Council Sessions to Support Digital Transformation
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Diya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the academic departments at the Institute held exceptional council sessions today, Wednesday, as part of the ongoing follow-up on the implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s digital transformation strategy.
These sessions involved the following departments:

Computer Networks and Software Technologies
During the meetings, the councils reviewed and discussed mechanisms for completing student data within the Ministry’s Student Information System (SIS), as well as updating staff data through the Human Resources (HR) system. The councils also addressed procedures for integrating all academic courses into the SIS platform, alongside coding buildings and offices to fulfill the Ministry’s comprehensive digital transformation requirements.
This initiative aligns with governmental directives aimed at digitally supporting the educational process and enhancing academic and administrative performance within educational institutions.
