In the presence of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute, Asst. Prof. Dr.Diyah Kammel Shary  , the Surveying Techniques Department organized a scientific trip for first-year students to “Rowaat Aswar Basrah” Contracting Company. This trip was part of an effort to enhance the practical aspect of the students’ education and apply the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom.

The visit aimed to expose the students to the fieldwork processes and the latest technologies used in the surveying and contracting industry, in addition to learning about how projects are executed according to established engineering standards. The trip included a field tour and meetings with the company’s engineering staff, who provided comprehensive explanations of the project implementation phases and the importance of surveying in the construction sector.

This event is part of a series of scientific activities that the department is committed to organizing in order to develop students’ skills and prepare them for the job market, in line with the goals of technical education to connect academic knowledge with practical experience.
