Under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, the Scientific Division, in collaboration with the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering Techniques and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a scientific workshop titled \u201cInspection and Corrosion Treatment in Oilfield Pipes and Equipment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Marwa Kifah Badr, who discussed corrosion in oil facilities, including electrochemical and stress corrosion, as well as field inspection methods and ultrasonic testing. The workshop also focused on developing a corrosion mitigation roadmap and conducting risk assessments to reduce costs and ensure equipment safety.<\/p>\n

The workshop was held in the halls of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering Techniques at the college.<\/p>\n
