{"id":42429,"date":"2026-09-21T09:15:40","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T06:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bti.stu.edu.iq\/?p=42429"},"modified":"2026-09-24T13:16:42","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T10:16:42","slug":"faculty-member-at-basra-engineering-polytechnic-college-participates-in-a-masters-thesis-defense-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bti.stu.edu.iq\/en\/42429\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Member at Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Participates in a Master\u2019s Thesis Defense Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As part of bilateral academic cooperation and the College\u2019s commitment to contributing specialized expertise to the academic community, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar Abboud, a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Techniques at Basra Engineering Polytechnic College and Director of the Electronic Computing Center at the University Presidency, participated as a member of the Master\u2019s thesis defense committee for student Abbas Hassan Ali at the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Basrah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The thesis, entitled:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">\u201cDesign of Sharp-Edge Microwave Bandpass Filters for Selective Communication in the 5G Mid-Band\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">examined the design and fabrication of advanced Microstrip Bandpass Filters featuring highly selective and sharp filter edges to meet the requirements of 5G Mid-Band communication systems.
