In line with the directives of the Dean of the Institute of Technology and Technical Studies in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, and in an effort to develop academic staff and enhance their scientific competencies, a lecturer in the Department of Electronic Technologies, Dr. Mahmoud Arif Al-Shuraida, has successfully completed a number of specialized training courses and obtained certified completion certificates issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the (eduba) platform.<\/p>\n

The training courses covered the following topics:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Guidelines for writing and publishing review papers<\/li>\n
  • How to write a research paper from a reviewer\u2019s perspective<\/li>\n
  • Reasons for manuscript rejection and how to overcome them<\/li>\n
  • The concept of the H-index and methods for improving it<\/li>\n
  • Selecting an appropriate journal and verifying its credibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
