Under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute of Technology in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a volunteer campaign to plant and rehabilitate the areas opposite the department workshops.<\/p>\n

The campaign aims to improve the university environment and enhance its aesthetic appearance in line with the requirements of the academic institution, in addition to promoting a culture of volunteerism and fostering a spirit of cooperation among students.<\/p>\n

The initiative witnessed distinguished participation from the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hameed, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Aqeel, and the Head of the Department, Dr. Dana Tareq, along with faculty members, staff, and a number of students. The activities included planting various trees and plants, as well as carrying out cleaning and site organization works, contributing to a healthy and attractive educational environment.<\/p>\n

The Deanship of the Institute continues to support such initiatives, which contribute to reinforcing environmental sustainability concepts and strengthening teamwork within the campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
