A Distinguished Scientific Achievement Added to the Record of the Basra Technological Technical Institute<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a remarkable step reflecting the academic and research excellence of the Basra Technological Technical Institute, Dr. Mahmood Al-Shureida received a letter of appreciation for the third time in 2025<\/strong> from the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq<\/strong>, in recognition of his outstanding role in supervising a graduation research project by students of the Electronics Techniques Department<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This project represented a significant milestone in the institute\u2019s graduation research journey since its founding in 1973, having achieved the following:<\/p>\n

    Won first place<\/strong> among all scientific departments during the 2024\u20132025 Student Scientific Conference<\/strong>, held at the institute from April 22 to 24, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Was subsequently published in Discover Applied Sciences<\/strong>, a prestigious Q1-ranked international journal<\/strong> under Springer Nature<\/strong>, marking the first-ever graduation project<\/strong> in the institute\u2019s history to reach this level of global recognition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Efficient Implementation of Post-Quantum Digital Signatures on Raspberry Pi<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    The research addresses a crucial topic in cybersecurity<\/strong>, focusing on the development of a post-quantum digital signature mechanism<\/strong> resistant to quantum computing attacks, and capable of being deployed on low-resource devices<\/strong> such as the Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n

    This achievement stands as a testament to Dr. Mahmood Al-Shureida\u2019s dedication<\/strong>, his unwavering belief in his students\u2019 potential, and his commitment to guiding them toward excellence and innovation. His efforts have elevated the institute\u2019s name on both the local and international<\/strong> levels.<\/p>\n
