Scientific Symposium in Basra Discusses the Impact of Technological Advancements on Cultural Heritage and Preservation Methods<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Technical Technological Institute in Basra, under the patronage of its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammil Shary, organized a scientific symposium entitled \u201cThe Impact of Technological Advancements on Cultural Heritage and Preservation Methods,\u201d<\/em> in collaboration with the Basra Palace of Culture and Arts.<\/p>\n

The symposium featured a presentation by researcher Basim Hussein, Director of the Basra Palace of Culture and Arts. He addressed several key issues, including the challenges heritage faces amid rapid digital transformation, the role of technology in documenting heritage sites and protecting them from deterioration, and the importance of raising community awareness on these matters.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by faculty members, affiliates, researchers, and cultural enthusiasts. Emphasis was placed on the critical need for cooperation between academic and cultural institutions to enhance the use of technology in preserving and promoting civilizational identity.<\/p>\n
