The Computer Division, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit and the Student Activities Division, organized a specialized training workshop entitled \u2018Account Security in the Age of Digital Acceleration.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop was held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, and was presented by Ms. Shafaq Qasim Radi, Head of the Computer Division at the institute. The session was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, along with several staff members and students.<\/p>\n

The workshop highlighted the importance of protecting one\u2019s digital identity, offering guidance on securing account recovery information, enabling two-factor authentication, and applying practical steps to safeguard digital accounts. Ms. Radi also outlined major cybersecurity threats facing users today and introduced effective strategies to mitigate risks and ensure a safer digital environment.<\/p>\n

This workshop reflects the institute\u2019s ongoing commitment to raising digital awareness among its staff and students, while also strengthening their ability to navigate the growing cybersecurity challenges brought on by rapid digital transformation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
