With the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and in the presence of Assist. Prof.Dr.Diyah Kammel Shary , Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology in Basra, along with Mr. Mortada Mohammed Bandar, Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Director of the Student Activities Department at the university, the Peace Championship for the Technological Scientific Departments in Futsal for first-year students of the 2024\u20132025 academic year concluded today. The matches took place at the central sports hall at the institute.<\/p>\n

The final match witnessed an exciting confrontation between the Department of Electrical Techniques and the Department of Surveying Techniques, with the Department of Electrical Techniques emerging victorious with a score of 6\u20131, thereby securing the championship title deservedly.<\/p>\n

The closing ceremony included honoring the President of the University, the Dean of the Institute, the referees of the championship, and the officials responsible for activities at both the university and the institute, in recognition of their efforts in ensuring the success of this sports event.<\/p>\n

The championship concluded with the awarding of trophies to the first and second-place teams, amid a sense of pride and appreciation for the outstanding athletic performance displayed by the students, as part of the university’s ongoing support for meaningful student activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
