The session was delivered by Engineer <strong data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"474\">Miyad Ismail Mohammed<\/strong>. The workshop focused on understanding energy, its importance, types, and mechanisms of operation. It highlighted the value of adopting renewable energy sources in line with global technological advancements. Given the extremely high temperatures in the city of Basra, the discussion emphasized the need to harness solar power as a clean, carbon-free, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional electricity sources. This transition would also reduce noise pollution and dependency on fuel-powered generators. Additionally, the workshop addressed practical aspects of solar-powered home design, noting that the cost of solar installation has significantly decreased in recent years.
