Al-Furqadin University College Hosts Final Examinations for Qualified Students from Basrah Universities in the Grand National Reading Competition (A Nation that Reads)<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, April 15, 2025, Al-Furqadin University College hosted the final examinations for students qualified from Basrah-based universities \u2014 including the Southern Technical University, the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas, Al-Maqil University, and Al-Furqadin University College \u2014 as part of the Grand National Reading Competition, “A Nation that Reads,”<\/em> held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussain Shrine.<\/p>\n

Three winners were selected to represent Basrah Governorate in the final stage of the competition, which will take place at the Holy Hussain Shrine in the ninth month of this year.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that student Walaa Salman Ne\u2019ma<\/strong> from the Southern Technical University<\/strong> won the qualifying round and advanced to the finals.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Shafaq Qasim<\/strong>, from the Southern Technical University, participated as a member of the judging panel, while the university’s delegation was headed by the Director of the Student Activities Department.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the winners, and best of luck to all remaining participants.<\/p>\n
