Educational Seminar on Cyber Extortion and Cybersecurity at the Technical Technology Institute \u2013 Basra<\/p>\n

Basra \u2013 Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Technology Institute, Associate Professor Dr. Arkan Yacoub Youssef, the Civil Engineering Department, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and with support from the Directorate of Intelligence and Counterterrorism in Basra, the Basra Technical Department, the National Security Agency, and the Basra Security Directorate, organized an educational seminar titled “Cyber Extortion and Cybersecurity.”<\/p>\n

The seminar was organized by M.M. Aliaa Ghaleb Saleh, with the attendance of several cybersecurity experts, as well as faculty members and students of the institute. The seminar covered crucial topics, including the risks of cyber extortion, methods of cyber hacking, ways to enhance cybersecurity, and the role of security institutions in combating cybercrime. Practical advice was also provided to students on how to secure their personal accounts and avoid falling victim to such crimes.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the seminar, the Dean honored the lecturers with certificates of appreciation for their efforts in raising awareness and strengthening cybersecurity, emphasizing the importance of continuing such educational events to protect the community from digital threats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
