The Southern Technical University Hosts a Seminar Titled “Kazem Al-Ghaith: An Icon of Elucidation”

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqub Yusuf, the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies organized a scientific and intellectual seminar titled “Kazem Al-Ghaith: An Icon of Elucidation,” attended by a distinguished group of academic and administrative figures from the university.

Sheikh Abdul-Munim Mashkoor delivered a lecture in which he discussed the intellectual and historical aspects of Imam Kazem’s (A) personality, reviewing his role in spreading the values of patience, wisdom, and elucidation, as well as his impact on the cultural and social reality.

The seminar witnessed notable attendance, led by the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqub Yusuf, alongside:

• The Administrative and Financial Assistant of the Technical Institute of Technology, Mr. Murtadha Mohammad Bandar.
• The Administrative and Financial Assistant of the Technical Institute of Administration, Dr. Iman Askar.
• The Administrative and Financial Assistant of the Technical Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Firas Jamil.
• Assistant Professor Dr. Dunya Tariq, Head of the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies.
• The University’s Relations and Governmental Communications Officer, Mr. Iyad.
• The University’s Student Activities Officer, Mr. Ali Al-Muhammad.

This seminar is part of a series of intellectual activities organized by the Southern Technical University to promote cultural and intellectual awareness among students and faculty members, while shedding light on historical figures who contributed to the establishment of human and scientific values.

The seminar concluded with an open discussion session, which saw contributions from the audience emphasizing the importance of benefiting from the values drawn from Imam Kazem’s (A) biography in building a more aware and stable society. Participants also expressed their appreciation for the organizers of this meaningful event.
