The Department of Production Mechanical Techniques Organizes a Training Course on “Excel Basics”

The Department of Production Mechanical Techniques organized a training course entitled “Excel Basics”, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the Institute.

The course aimed to enhance the skills of students and staff in using Microsoft Excel, as it is one of the essential tools for performing office tasks and analyzing technical and administrative data. The training covered the fundamental principles of the program, including working with spreadsheets, basic formulas, and data formatting—contributing to the participants’ professional readiness.

The lectures were delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mr. Waleed Jalloub Khudair and Ms. Miad Mohammed, who provided comprehensive explanations supported by practical examples, making the material accessible and applicable. Ms. Hasnaa Bakr served as the course coordinator, overseeing the administrative organization and follow-up.

The course saw active participation and engagement from attendees, who expressed their appreciation for the course content and its importance in enhancing their digital competencies. They also emphasized the need for such training programs to be held regularly, given their direct impact on improving professional efficiency.
