Sponsored by the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Ya’qub Yusuf, Dean of the Technical Institute, the Department of Power Mechanical Technologies, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit and the Student Activities Division at the Institute, organized a scientific workshop titled: “A Journey into the World of Derivatives: From Basics to Advanced Derivatives.”
The workshop targeted students of the Department of Power Mechanical Technologies and focused on the importance of derivatives in engineering and technical applications, starting with the basics and progressing to advanced applications.
The workshop was presented by Eng. Ashwaq Taleb Abdul Nabi, who explained the significance of mathematical concepts in understanding and analyzing mechanical systems in a simplified scientific manner. The seminar was coordinated by Mr. Mohammed Qasim Mohammed, with the attendance of Mr. Abbas, head of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit.
The workshop witnessed notable interaction from the students, with many questions raised that reflected their interest in the material presented. This interaction contributed to enhancing their understanding of the relationship between theoretical concepts and practical applications.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific events organized by the Technical Institute to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to keep pace with modern technological developments.
