Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, President of Southern Technical University, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Basrah Technical Technological Institute, the Institute’s Women Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Independent High Electoral Commission, held an educational seminar entitled “Voting Mechanisms and the Role of Staff in Ensuring a Successful Electoral Process.”

The seminar targeted institute staff to raise awareness about the voting procedures and to explain the responsibilities of employees during the electoral process, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

The seminar was presented by Mr. Jawad Dhuwai’ and Ms. Amal Kazem from the Independent High Electoral Commission. They discussed the detailed stages of the voting process, electronic counting and tabulation methods, and the role of staff in organizing polling centers.
