Southern Technical University Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Al-Iraq University College

In a spirit of academic collaboration and the advancement of higher education, Southern Technical University, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Al-Iraq University College, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Jasem Salman.

This exemplary agreement aims to strengthen scientific partnership and academic integration between the two institutions. It encompasses cooperation in several key areas, including scientific research, exchange of academic and administrative expertise, organization of joint seminars and activities, and support for training programs to enhance the capabilities of both students and faculty members.

Both parties emphasized that this agreement marks the beginning of a productive collaboration that will contribute significantly to the development of university education and community engagement. The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of fostering effective partnerships between public and private universities.

The signing ceremony was attended by several university leaders, including Prof. Dr. Waleed Abduljaleel, Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Basrah Engineering Technical Institute; and Dr. Ayad, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Dean of Al-Iraq University College presented a commemorative shield to the President of Southern Technical University, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of academic cooperation and support for both public and private higher education institutions.
