Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute, the Student Activities Unit — in collaboration with the Media and Government Communication Unit — organized a workshop titled “Community Service” as part of the Tamkeen (Empowerment) initiative for students and graduates.

The workshop was attended by:

• Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq – President of the Southern Technical University

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Diya Kammel Shary – Dean of the Technological Technical Institute

• Prof. Dr. Mowaffaq Abdulaziz – Dean of Al-Shatra Technical Institute

• Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi – Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute

• Dr. Abdulnasser Abduljabbar – Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs

• Along with a group of faculty members and participating students

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Youssef Mahmoud, with Ms. Huda Hamed serving as the session rapporteur.

The workshop focused on strengthening the role of students and graduates in community service, while also equipping them with practical skills aligned with labor market demands and social responsibility.
