Voluntary Maintenance Campaign for Lathes, Milling Machines, and Garden Landscaping at Basra Technical Institute
Under the direct supervision and guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of Basra Technical Institute, the Laboratories and Workshops Unit organized a voluntary campaign to service and maintain lathes and milling machines. This initiative is part of the Institute’s intensive preparations for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year.
The campaign included comprehensive maintenance and servicing operations aimed at ensuring the technical readiness of the machines to meet the practical and applied needs of students.
Additionally, the campaign involved rehabilitation and maintenance of the gardens surrounding the workshops, reflecting a commitment to creating a comfortable and motivating educational environment.
These efforts demonstrate the Institute administration’s dedication to providing an integrated educational setting that enhances the quality of technical education and supports students in developing their practical skills.
