A Voluntary Campaign for the Maintenance of Lathes and Milling Machines and the Rehabilitation of Gardens at the Technological Technical Institute

Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiya Kammel Shary, the Laboratories and Workshops Unit organized a voluntary campaign to service and maintain lathes and milling machines. This initiative comes as part of the Institute’s intensive preparations for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year.

The campaign involved comprehensive maintenance and servicing operations aimed at ensuring the machines’ technical readiness to meet the practical and applied needs of students.

In addition, the campaign included efforts to rehabilitate and maintain the gardens surrounding the workshops, in a step toward creating a comfortable and motivating educational environment.

These initiatives reflect the administration’s commitment to providing a fully integrated educational setting that enhances the quality of technical education and supports students in developing their hands-on and practical skills.
