“United by Our Love for Imam Hussein”: Basra Technical Institute Launches Major Cleanup Campaign Along the Pilgrimage Route
In a gesture reflecting both social responsibility and spiritual devotion, Basra Technical Institute, under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute, organized a large-scale cleaning campaign along the walkway and Husseini procession route in Basrah. The initiative comes within the framework of the Institute’s dedication to promoting volunteerism, public service, and community engagement during the Arbaeen pilgrimage season.
The campaign witnessed direct participation from Dr. Dhiya Kammel Shary, along with Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Mr. Duraid Habeeb Ali, University Liaison Officer.
